We have a number of exciting annual events to enhance mutual friendship among the members, such as sea bathing picnic accompanied with our families, ”Shoro-nagashi”, and freshmen-welcome reception and year-end dinner party which over 300 members attend. We, the 2nd Dept of Internal Medicine Team, participate in the intramural baseball, basketball, and volleyball competitions every year. We also have an annual regularly-scheduled baseball match with some departments of other medical schools.

“Shoro-nagashi”, the style of Bon in Nagasaki. We build an original “Shoro-bune” by ourselves once every four years for praying the repose of patients’ souls.
