Practice and education of forensic radiology in Japan

Summary:
One of the recent interesting topics in forensic medicine is postmortem CT imaging because of its usefulness in detecting intra-cadaver condition before or without invasive investigation. In 2015, postmortem image interpretation guideline in Japan has been published, and the guideline becomes a standard to interpret the postmortem imaging in forensic purpose.
Beside the daily practice, many research works have been published by many Japanese researchers, and the knowledge of postmortem image have been increasing in daily base.
In this presentation, the practical standard usage of postmortem image in forensic medicine in Japan, and the recent research works from Japan will be presented.
近年の法医学領域の関心の一つとして、解剖前や検案時にあらかじめ体内情報を得ることができる死後CTがある。2015年には我が国初の死後画像読影ガイドラインが出版され、今日に至るまで法医画像診断において読影のスタンダードとして利用されている。
また、我が国の多くの研究者により法医放射線に関する研究が行われており、死後画像に関する知見は日に日に増加している。
本発表では、我が国の法医実務における死後画像の利用についてご紹介するとともに、最近の研究成果についても紹介する。 |
