Outline
We provide high quality comprehensive clinical radiology and related services for the management of patients, including plain X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, angiography & interventional radiology, fluoroscopy, as well as radiation therapy for cancer. We have 17 faculty members and 5 residents, and 7 postgraduate students are working on clinical works as well as the clinical or basic research. The goals of the research initiatives in our department of radiology are to apply new and innovative technologies to challenging clinical problems in order to improve patient health. Our Department is made up of several research groups including neuroradiology, thoracic radiology, musculoskeletal radiology, cardiovascular radiology, interventional radiology and clinical oncology, with each providing specific areas of focus but all collaborating in a highly interdisciplinary environment. The following are the representative lists of our research topics.

 - Application of dual energy-CT for evaluation of pulmonary thromboembolism
 - Application of MR imaging in evaluation of rheumatic disorders
 - Application of HR-pQCT for rheumatic disorders
 - Application of new MR imaging techniques for neurovascular disorders
